Local Buildings
I haven't painted many buildings but the few I have painted are iconic buildings from the Greater Milwaukee area. Buildings are quite a challenge for me as each one already a work of art, and I want top be respectful of the architects.
North Point Water Tower
I painted the North Point Water Tower in 2022 as a rare commission for a family member who lives near the Water Tower. The painting is 24" wide by 48" tall and was framed in a historic gold leaf frame and looks wonderful in its new home.
Waukesha Rotunda
This is a painting of the Waukesha Rotunda painted in 2021 during my first plein air painting competition. It was painted on site in a week. The final size of the painting is approximately 18" tall by 24" wide. It is framed currently in a light maple wood float frame. I loved painting plein air and will do it again.
